“Featuring the kind of lascivious riffing Keef would be proud of, Place To Hide is a rollicking nugget of hard-nosed blues’n’roll”
Classic Rock Magazine premiered The Bloody Nerve’s “Place To Hide” video, flagged for their Track Of The Week honors. The video was directed by Robin Summer, son of Eric Summer who just last year sync’d the band’s first unofficial release “Find Ya Love” for the TF1 medical series Interventions in France.
“We shot the video one Saturday at Robin’s film school here in Nashville. He did the entire thing himself” said the band’s vocalist Laurie Ann Layne. “The Summers are another one of those gifts from the rock n’ roll gods that fell out of the sky for us. They are the best”.
After a very trying 2014 that burned down their home and studio, took Laurie Ann’s father, and brought other dramas, the video marks a finality of a desperate time.
“After so much there has to be a dividing line where you say ‘okay that’s it, moving onto another era’. To us getting the video done and out represents that to us.” says guitarist and vocalist Stacey Blood. “Felt like ‘game on’ again officially.”
